Usually falls for Virgo, but attracts Leo (must be my Mercury in Aquarius - the closest planet to the Sun).

Second of all, the whole deal with Leos being confining or controlling sounds like an Aquarius talking about the freeflowing relation to everything and the opportunity to follow own path without being limited by someone else. By the sound of it, you have some squares within your chart, though I may be wrong. Such as Mercury squaring Ascendant and Moon (at least by sign). Oh, but you most likely have a Sun-Moon and Sun-Ascendant trine, yes? You sound like a social charmer who is easy to come in contact with, but who has turbulent ways of expressing or balancing feelings or something, or who sends contradictory signals :p I may be sorely mistaken though.
