If you could change your chart.......

If you could change one thing in your chart, what would that be & why ? This discussion is inspired by recent comments from my friend, Synthia Rose about her cancer moon. So I wonder what would we all change if we could ???

So it's like a "general faith" thing. I'm a spiritual tramp!!

Haha, I like the way you word things.

Shakti,

Ah, Jupiter in Gemini! I understand all about the scattering of learning- I can definitely relate to that. What's your Mars, by the way?

I am much better now, but anything that took my fancy, I would read up on it, so in many ways I feel like a walking encyclopaedia- but now, once I became aware of what was going, I don't do it, so much, or I restrain myself and say "Do I really need to invest time in knowing this. Is it trivia? etc."

Jupiter in the 11th house... well, I belong to a lot of groups which I go to in the week ( dance troupe/classes - middle eastern /flamenco, and go to a French class) so I've got a variety of good friends and acquaintances, who I meet up and socialise with, every week: and of course, it goes without saying , that I have multiple interests ( ranging from anthropology, politics, arts, astrology, you name it!!! I'm open to it..)

I love, adore writing, language and languages. I just adore looking at calligraphy, especially Arabic calligraphy ( I've been a naughty, as I am studying two courses at once: creative writing and article writing- very geminian)
I teach English to foreign students, so I'm in contact with different cultures.

I suppose being with groups, friends and associations, languages. Sounds like a crowded house, yeah, friendly. I've never been short of interesting and stimulating and supportive friends ) ever since I can remember...... you know, I'm having fun ;D. I like people and having stimulating conversations and discussions.

Then there are the times, it gets too much- too much going on and I am a nervous wreck!!!!

I think organising time, energy, and not frittering knowledge, friendships, energy etc away, is one of the keys to harnessing Jupiter in Gemini. I am learning this. And valuing detail ( but that might be the Pluto in Virgo or Mars in Capricorn: Mars trine Pluto...!)- where I'm at now,is I am linking things /knowledge together and creating a continnum, in depth, and looking at the philosophies behind.

I think I rather like Jupiter in the 11th house!!!!

And my north node is there, too- so a double whammy here. Spread the knowledge you have. And yes, that knowledge has to be in depth.

But Jupiter in the 1st house: that's supposed to be an excellent position. lets' swap - heehee.! x

My, you're a busy woman! Don't blush but I'm just checkin' out your Mercury.. ;)
Teaching English to foreign students must be interesting. Do you do that as you travel, or in your own hometown?

I have a wee trio of planets in the 1st house - Mercury, Jupiter and Sun (also Pholus, but I'm not sure what he does?) Even if the 1st house is a good position for Jupiter, I think a Gemini Jupiter is a more uncomfortable placement for the planet, as it's in the sign opposite to the one it rules?

Mars in Leo, by the way. Rawr.

I have my Jupiter in Sag, and in the 11th house... Jupiter is actually my charts final dispositor, so I have that little flair going for me.

I feel lucky and open to new adventures. :)

Am I a "lucky" person in the traditional sense...um, no....I've lost everything I've owned 3 times by no fault of my own and suffered multiple other personal misfortunes including a life threatening health crises and homelessness.

But I feel lucky, and happy and that the universe is here to take care of me. It's almost like having a solid rod in my core that says no matter what....I will be ok!! It also makes me recover quickly and see the humor in tragedy, and I often find myself just chalking up my problems and bumps on my long journey of life.

I also travel a lot....I find much about myself in different places and foreign people. I love to move!! My friends are always generous to me in times of crises (11th house) and no matter what happens I have people in multiple states willing to house, feed and love me at the drop of a hat.

It's nice!

ps- It's funny seeing that influence with old daddy Saturn...sometimes I think I'm intensely stupid for thinking everything is going to just be dandy-wandy...I yell at myself "back to the office!!" and giggle on my way there.... does that make sense?

Jupiter in the 11th house:

I can also relate to the friends' bit. I do have special friends, who have helped me over the years. And they are very important to me.

Lucky you, Angeline Elise: value it, as it's a very special energy ;). And even with a icky saturn, you've got a great sense of balance and perspective....

Does having Sun, Moon and mercury in Sagittarius, attract any spare Jupiterian luck going ( here's hoping!!)

Thanks Z!!

I would definitely think Sun and Moon would bring you some of that Jupiter luck!! It certainly makes you a happy and pleasant person to be around at the least!!

Oh!!! I just thought of this too...I am HUUUGGE religious fetishist!! I think that's Jupiter...I love collecting Christian, Jewish, Catholic articles of faith (other religions too)!!

Sprays
Candles
Jewelry (& Rosaries)
Pamphlets
Figurines

I have incredible articles of faith I find on my travels!! I recently went to an Indian Reservation and and found this Neo-Catholic Mary Magdeline lacquer bracelet!! I also love visiting churches, synagogues and other places of faith!! I want to go see this wishing shrine this summer...

Jupiter Conj. Uranus...I'm a tad restless.

That's incredible.... quite a fascinating interest you've got there. Rosaries (Catholic and Muslim) fascinate me, no end.

I think it also show a spiritual openness. If only people who fight over religion, could open their eyes just that little bit wider.

Speaking of Jupiter, I am also interested in different spiritual ideas, the similarities, as well as differences. I am into complementary medicine, and would love to look into researching and understanding the various energies of the body.

This was said to me a long time ago, and more recently, a well known astrologer actually said I'd have no significant other from this point forward. I dismissed this years ago...now it seems to be prophecy.
SOOO....that blasted T-Square I would get rid of in a flash if I could...but I'm afraid I'm stuck with it (:
Your sun (identity), moon (feelings, needs), and Venus (femininity, female sexuality) are all located in your 7th house of marriage and long-term partnerships. Combined with your Libra rising sign, these placements suggest to me that being part of a couple is extremely important to you.
The kicker is that your 7th house trio are in a formation called a T-square. They are challenged by Mars conjunct Saturn,

..... surely the astrologer should be suggesting ideas to help you try to overcome the square.
that's the whole point: ways to grow and develop.

Squares are challenges that are to be overcome. Don't believe the "prophecy". I am annoyed that they've made you feel like that...

Even though, I don't have your t-square, I have moon square saturn, could make me prone to depression or feelings of inadequacy etc, and mercury square saturn ( my moon and mercury are conjunct)-which could make me feel inhibited in speech,or undervalue my methods of communication ( and yes I would change those in an instant!) but I am working on these two things, as a challenge to myself

You're not doomed. No way!! Speak to someone who could be very constructive and positive. Also with transits and progressions, and with obvious maturing, you change, and you will overcome things. Does that make any sense?

Maturing? heh heh...that I am! And I have overcome squares in my chart over the years...but this stinker won't budge. The harder I try...the more it "digs its heels in" I'm a naturally optimistic person, but this area...am becoming cynical.

Kriari, You need a better astrologer.......:-)
I have 5 different T-squares in my chart & I wouldn't accept such fatalist reading from anyone.
