Gem F+ Leo M = Potential?

I've just started getting to know a leo who is sending out such mixed signals to me. almost controlling and keen in one breath and then distant and non commitall in the next. He seems like a really nice person but im concerned that maybe i am more intense than him. Could someone take a look at our compatibility and see if theres any astrological explanation to it?! Your Suns should be reasonably compatible (although of different element, Fire & Air are complimentary). If your ascendant is Sag & his is Leo, that is compatible too. Are his Leo Venus & Sun in the 1st or 12th house?
Where I can't see much compatibility would be your respective Moons. I think Virgo & Aqua Moons can be a challenge together. I'm not an expert. I hope someone else weighs in on this. Now if your Aqua Moon in conjunct his descendant (since he has Leo rising, his descendant would be Aqua), or even if it doesn't actually conjoin by degrees, if it even falls in his 7th house, that's favorable for partnerships.....:-)
Now your Taurus Venus is opposite his Scorpio Mars. I don't know the degrees but Venus opposite Mars in synastry from what I've read can be strong attraction & sexual tension....:-) His Venus in Leo sextiles your Libra Mars (again may or may not by exact degrees but at least by sign), which is a good indication for romantic attraction...:-)
I wonder if his Sun trines your ascendant, by degrees I mean. That would be another good thing if it does.
