Physical Attraction and Signs

I have been pondering something that I really haven't found much information on and I thought I would throw it out on here to see what you guys think. I have come to realize that many of my close friends and I seem to attract men with the same signs ( I have dated 5 Cancers, 3 Pisces and 2 Taurus). I was wondering if this could possibly be based on my appearance? I have a round face, long hair, pudgy skin and I know that my mannerisms can come off as maternal and feminine at times. I've always wanted to date a Gemini man but one of my friends told me that they are usually attracted to females with petite frames, which is why they may overlook me in terms of physical appearance.

Does anyone believe that certain aspects of your physical appearance will attract certain signs? If so, what does each sign prefer? (based on your tastes?) Just curious to see what each sign is interested in and if theres a consensus on certain traits... I know for me (cancer sun/cap moon/lib asc/cancer ven) I prefer men that are tall, not thin, clean shaven and protective.

I actually see lots of Aqua dudes with "ideal" women, real model looking types.

I think all Air signs, not looking into their chart..venus, ect. look for women they "think" they should be with....libra has it's weakness for ideal beauty, Gems I know want someone who will look good on their social status, and Aqua's have a "lifestyle" (usually an against the grain lifestyle) and need a girl to fit into that....in my opinion.

I have Venus/Mars Aqua and I need someone who will stand out to me...but I've dated so many different types because I am attracted to a man who represents my values and someone I can talk to...I have a hard time bringing up "physical" attributes I like....although I am a sucker for sexy well defined calves (aqua rules the calves). ;)

Yeah, the ex I was with was a Gemini...and I am 5 feet tall (actually tallest female in my family!)...from the girls I saw him with before and after I am the only one with hips and t*ts.....come to think of it he was the only dude I dated who didn't dote over my curves.

also, Pisces rules the feet...so yeah!! Lover boys! ;)

Hmm...ive dated a LOT of different signs but aquarius is NOT one of them. Makes sense based on what you are saying. Im 5'10"and have great hips and boobs (curveeey). Funny about the pisces though. Ive got square fred flinstone feet, and havent had any pisces complaints. (of course none of those relationships lasted either...maybe they just didnt expose their disdain for my feet! HA!)

I appreciate all body types but having a slender frame, I'm somewhat overwhelmed by larger women. On the other hand, thin is definetely not in; I feel sorry for really thin girls, you know where they think they have to look that way to be pretty but they just look like they're going to snap in half? They always look so anaemic and unhappy getting blown around in the wind and I want to offer them a hamburger. If it's healthy thin fair enough but what a waste of time to aim to look like that.
I usually go for girls shorter than myself (???), with hips to rest hands on, breasts, a healthy figure and curves, well-proportioned; hourglass figure in a nutshell. Feminine, yes, petite, no. I need that robustness and a fairly low centre of gravity for...well, for sex. I don't want to break her...and cos hugging a skeleton is no fun and doesn't keep me very warm at all =p
I don't think any particular sign fits that body-type; I'm attracted to Pisces, Gemini, Taurus and Cancer mostly, maybe Virgo but that's more of a personality thing. Or is it? I dunno. I'll leave those sorts of things to a faith in astrology but science can explain a lot more about body-type attraction. Everyone has an ideal body-type they find dead sexy, which is ultimately geared towards child-bearing and rearing. Guys like a girl who they feel has the figure to bear their child, and girls like a guy who has the necessary physical qualities to support them and the child, whatever they might be =)

DITTO! I love tall, lean, with a little bit of muscle. I especially like it when the muscle isn't apparent underneath clothing, but then without the clothes, you discover a whole world of muscle you didn't even know existed!

Also, I'm obsessed with shoulders, especially ones that are broad, lean and muscular -- not huge and bulky though. I'm also a sucker for really soft skin, particularly on the forearm area or the tummy/hip area. Oh, and don't get me started on the tummy/hip area. ...Ok, I need to stop there! ;-)

I'm a Gemini Asc/Aries sun/Cap moon/Pisces Venus. I like unkempt, slightly moppy hair but a clean shaven face. Dressed down classy clothes (well fitting jeans, a tshirt and an old suit coat, for example) totally do me in, especially if they can find a way to make it look like they're just effortlessly and lazily well dressed.

But most importantly, I like VERY TALL (mammoth if possible, please- not hard, since I'm only 5'2), slender men with similarly long limbs, but tremendous grace in carrying himself is also very important to me. If he somewhat resembles a poised spider monkey, I'm in it for the long haul. Long legs especially catch my eye. The two hottest men I dated before settling down (a Sag/Pisces and a Virgo/Sag) were both over 6 feet tall, mostly legs, and weighed less than 140 pounds. I have fond memories of purposely slowing down when Virgo/Sag and I were walking together just so that I could watch him in motion from behind. He got away with a lot because of those legs. *sigh*

I have Scorpio Sun, Scorpio Venus and Virgo rising and I attract a lot of Virgos and Tauruses. A couple of Cancers as well (and I'm pretty average up top. I didn't get to know them well enough to figure out Venus signs though). Every now and then I get a fire sign.

I never seem to attract Pisces or Caps, even though they seem like they'd be a good fit for all my water and earth! :(

As for my own preferences: I like shaggy hair and I don't mind generous amounts of body hair on a man, although I do have limits. I like distinct eyes and a thick, masculine brow - think people like Adam Goldberg, Oded Fehr or George Harrison. I looooooove a buttery voice (example: George Takei). Personality-wise, nothing turns me off faster than stupidity. More accurately, I mean people who just don't CARE about educating themselves in any meaningful way. Nobody has to know everything, but to not even be interested...

Ooh Mary Kaye, I second the thick, masculine eyebrows! My fiance has gorgeous eyebrows over big, sleepy blue eyes and is so self conscious- I don't think most men realize their eyebrows can be attractive to women.

I'm a pretty typical cancer type..I'm very feminine, round and soft - but I have muscle - I'm strong (Aries Rising!) I have large breast, LOL! I'm like a mother hen so I attract guys who need a mother figure and like to be taken care of. Hmmm..I would say for me I like a guy who is probably average to maybe a bit bigger than average. I do not like skinny men or men who look emaciated! He needs to have muscle (but not body builder type) just a strong man overall. Nice neck/shoulders and upper arms! Strong hands and nice defined calves, thighs and butt. My preferred type is a guy who is about 6'- 6' 3" probably 180-220 Dark hair and eyes...not alot of hair on the body..but nice thick hair on the head. A guy who takes care of himself (clean nails and waxed eyebrows!) A guy who lets me be in control but doesn't let me walk all over him as I totally lose respect for guys like that.
