Sorry you have been without a reply for so long, its been a bit chaotic here too!

Joan you sound really balanced, you seem to have got the best traits of both signs. I sometimes think I have all the worst... (self-pity, see, told you!)

I have just taken up cross stitch again, in a very small way, making a bookmark for a friend for Christmas. I gave it up for a long while as my eyesight isn't what it was. I gave in and got specs :D

I am a real homebody and I am very much at home in the kitchen and garden. When I was younger I had a crafts business in NY, which made for a nice income.

I do needlepoint and counted cross stich, and knit some. I guess I am a walking contradiction and a very ying yang type LOL My life is always in balance, or is to me. Some would certainly disagree.

I'm not paticularily emotional, but can flare at the drop of a hat. I do tend to gather my emotions in, like a crab, but forgive and forget easily.

My children are a joy to me. My home a close second. Having said all that I am just as at home in the office and am pretty kick ass if I do say so myself LOL

Not sure if that makes me typical of any sign really LOL

I do remember reading that Venus in Taurus is a good place for a woman to have it, not sure about Capricorn but, as you say, it is another earth sign. I am thinking that there is a lot to be built with water and earth :-)

Be intresting if any other earth sign venus ladies could chime in here and let us know how they think.

In fact, my new partner asked me if my sexuality was as a result of being older but I can honestly say I have had this attitude since the very beginning, right back to my first partner at college when I was 18, I didn't know there was any other way to be back then...

Interesting too that your sun and moon are the other way round from mine. Do you find that the Cancer in your chart is a hinderance to how your Capricorn self wants to see themselves?

This is so fascinating, I have to tear myself off this site :-)

I found what you said about venus in taurus struck a chord in me. My venus is in capricorn, but I feel exactly the same way about sex. It has to be fun, as well as sensual and satisfying. I wonder if the placement of venus in an earth sign makes us perceive it that way?

Anyone else notice this?
