It had an atmosphere that carries similarities to your awesome photograph. Contrasts, the tropical enviroment. There is a sense of purity to this whole atmosphere. It feels very untouched by civilization, unspoiled. Something celestial about it, almost.

The palmtrees, the mountain, and such a powerful play between light and dark. I definitely love the pic, I just wish I could capture and explain better why I do.

The Future Sound Of London has a two-disc release; Lifeforms. I now associate your photo and some of the tracks on Lifeforms with each other. Pretty and colorful pictures of tropical enviroment aren't even nearly as fascinating or layered as a photograph like that.

It is rather probable that we do indeed have the same taste when it comes to imagery and composition.

There's a pic of yours that I love. Despite all the colorful and exciting images of exotic flora and fauna, the one entitled "kokosunrise" (10.24.06.) is phenomenal. I will attempt to explain why when words that match my feelings come back.
