His Mercury is square my Venus orb 0.39, but his Moon is sextile my Mercury Orb 4.47. What does this mean?
Depends alot on the rest of your chart and aspects in harmony, if he has Capricorn planets, then that's not so bad.

I've found that Mercury Trine Mars is helpful, despite a Mercury-Mercury opposition. Mercury Trine Mars = A person's intellect and his cognitive processes are in sync with the aims of your particular Mars drives. Does that make sense?
