Chronicles of a Break-up
Ever since I can remember I have a hard time breaking up? Something about me hates the knowledge of failure...in anything. I didn't want him in my life as a "friend" so it's shitty. I just consider "friendship" as a downgrade. It would be different if we had started as friends and then moved to a relationship. I understand your pain because you have to be in your Cancer's life because of your child. You are real young though and so is he, so it could be that you both will grow together. - Thank you! I have been doing positive things in general. The other guy has moved away & I hope he wont be back. I don't flirt or anything with anyone but him, though he still isn't responding, so I have laid off of that. Honestly, I've just been working on myself which seems to get his attention more than anything. The other guy is now writing me, but ehh. I'll just hold out longer & do what I need to be doing. Perhaps that WAS his way of explaining and I didn't recognize it. But, it really seems that I could feel his feelings at times. No way!!!! I was married to a sag for 7 yrs, have 2 sons with him, very undependable that one. But I stayed with him for about 20 years....I started seeing him two weeks after my 15th birthday....he was 35 at that time. he would leave for days or months or years, any time he left I never knew how long he'd be gone. He would not support us or even himself; he just sort of roamed...back and forth, in and out of my life
Then I met the love of my life 4 years ago now. That would be the cancer male that I refered to last night. But, it's not a physical relationship. Although, I long for him in places within my body that, honestly, I didn't know even existed before knowing him....and it would happen in the oddest places sometimes....once in a grocery store when I thought of him....all the muscles, from my thighs to my ribs contracted, not painfully either....I have no explanation for it. we would just talk when we were together but, there is nothing else like it. He is gay and in a committed relationship of many years.....and I can certainly understand that the physical would be way too complicated, even if he weren't gay. He just cut me off cold one day, no warning and when I do get the courage to email him he's very distant...I" can't hear his voice even in them....This has never happened to me before....I don't know how to quit thinking of him. By the way, he actively persuaded me to leave the sag and he was right.
You said that your cancer man and you were friends for awhile before you began dating? How did that proceed? If you don't mind my asking. I had dreams of him before I met him. I have only been physically attracted to one other person, ever. I wasn't physically attracted to him in the beginning...it came all at once.... like a sudden realization. He always seemed happy to see me...I love him so completely and he has cut me off and now I guess I must find some way to deal with it....But it doesn't feel like the end....I wonder if I'm tricking myself?
Will you describe your man's personality....does he seem jealous at odd things? Mine did. and the day he said that I had outgrown him and didn't need to see him any more, he had just gotten through telling me that he felt that his body may be starting to shut down. he's over 15 years older than me.
