Quiet Sigh

Close to the sea,
a wish gone infinite,
breeze of despair,
my heart yearns for warmth.

The sun always sets,
when i need it the most,
the moon's reflection,
betraying love's hiding.

I'll be sitting in church and listening to the priest do his homily, and will eventually focus my attention to the big cross up front and dead center. I look at the Jesus on that big wooden cross and my mind starts to swim. I feel sorry for him because not only does he have nails in his hands and feet, but also because he has to wear that tattered loincloth on display. That's not cool to put a person's body out like that. Then I start looking at his arms and legs and abdomen. D
