This is a forum and social network focused on the astrology of
relati0nships. It was created by Jeffrey Kishner, and he calls the
shots. Although he tries to make this a welcoming place, note that
this forum is not a democracy, and you do not have the freedom to
write whatever you want. Please review all the guidelines below. If
you do not agree to these Guidelines, do not participate.
Your postings -- whether in your personal blog, in forum
discussions, or in the form of comments on other member's posts or
walls -- may be removed at any time by a moderator if they are
inappropriate. If you feel you have written something worth
preserving, then
save your work (in a text file, for
example) Although it is unlikely, your membership here or the very
existence of the forum could vanish at any moment!
- Please refrain from hostility and name-calling, which create a
space in which members do not feel safe to share and be
vulnerable.
- Posts should address the thread topic, and those with a tangent
should start a new thread.
- When starting a love advice post, state clearly whether you
want candid "straight-up" advice or reassurance and encouragement.
Some members "tell it like it is," and if you don't want that type
of feedback, be direct about your needs.
- Don't talk about the forum in any discussion threads other than
in the Forum Housekeeping group. Many forum members are not
concerned with such issues, and may feel turned off by seeing such
threads consistently on the main page. If you feel committed to
making the forum a welcoming place to all, please join the group.
Moderators will notify members when they make comments about the
forum outside of the Forum Housekeeping group. Jeff reserves the
right to delete any comments about the forum that are not posted
within the group, but this will be a last resort.
- Do not make indirect reference to another forum member without
naming their name. If you are upset with how another forum member
is posting and feel they are flouting Community Guidelines, please
contact one of the moderators, or gently refer the member to one of
the numbered items listed here.
- All types of isms are discouraged: sexism, age-ism, racism,
homophobia.
- Do not spam to promote your services or website. There is an
area in the Profile Questions where you can list your website. If
you would like to advertise in the sidebar of all pages of the
forum, contact Jeff for pricing.
- If you decide to leave the forum, please consider just
remaining "inactive" instead of actively removing your profile.
When you permanently leave the forum, all of your posts are
erased.
- The use of curse words is prohibited on the immediate forum. If
you must use language that could be considered offensive, please
use asterisks in place of some, or all, of the letters. (Curse
words are allowed in blog posts and on personal pages.)
- The posting of pornographic pictures is not allowed.
- Do not disrespect the moderators (or anyone else, for that
matter). The moderators do a lot of work here to make sure the
forum is a safe, welcoming atmosphere. If you have a problem with a
moderator, send Jeffrey a private message.
- Do not abuse the private messaging system. Although the
administrators do not have access to members' private messages, if
we learn that you are attempting to undermine trust or stir up
trouble in the community, we will take measures, which can
include banning.
- If you quote another source (for example, a few paragraphs from
another website), please provide a LINK to the specific web page.
It is only fair to the author that he or she gets credit.
The following actions will be taken upon violation of the
Community Guidelines:
First violation: A private message will be sent to the
member’s inbox informing the member of the violation, or a response
will be addressed to the member in the thread. The member will be
asked to edit or remove the post, or it will be removed.
Second violation: The offending post will be removed.
After the post is removed, the member will receive a private
message informing him or her of why it was deleted, or a response
will be addressed to the member in the thread.
Third violation: The offending post will be removed. No
message or response will be sent.
Banning: If, after multiple violations, a consensus is
reached among moderators, a member may be banned from the
network.
Moderators: The current moderators are Jeffrey
Kishner, Allegra
de Rossi and The Usual
Unsuspect.
