Description of Sagittarius Moon

From cafeastrology.com:
"More than anything, Lunar Sagittarians have a need for personal freedom and space. They are extraordinarily happy and easygoing folk, as long as they don't feel caged in or cooped up.

Lunar Sagittarians have a simultaneous need for activity. Meeting new people, going out in the world, and travel are all important to their sense of well-being. They love open spaces, and, in their homes, a roomy and bright environment.

There's a bit of a teacher in Moon in Sagittarius, and definitely a helpful spirit. They easily forget appointments and the like, and some are even considered irresponsible. However, it is hard to stay angry at a Lunar Sagittarian! They are so cheerful and upbeat, and their optimism is catchy.

Many people with this position are outdoorsy types. At the very least, they have a great love for friendly competition.

When the going gets tough, these people run away. They don't like to be caught up in routine for too long, and they simply need to escape.

There's a blind faith in Lunar Sagittarians that is admirable. They simply believe that everything will work out. Not much for making detailed plans, people with Moon in Sagittarius prefer to wing it. They're very adaptable and generally on the go. "

From astrologyweekly.com:
"The Moon in Sagittarius gives an idealistic, cheerful and optimistic overtone to your emotional disposition - candid, honourable, kindly and good-natured. You can become restless and nervous on occasion, and on impulse can 'up sticks' and move home without warning - possibly to foreign shores. You may intuitively be drawn to such subjects as religion, mysticism or social science. You are, by temperament, a natural teacher or preacher and at times you can to very prophetic. Philosophy, music and reading will have a soothing and therapeutic effect upon your nature."

From astromap.co.uk:
"People born with the moon in the constellation of Sagittarius love independence, they are free spirits and they do not like to be trapped physically, intellectually or emotionally. With a Sagittarius moon sign you are adaptable and attract many friends who warm to your gregarious nature. People with this moon sign need to keep moving and exploring different views and ways of being. With the moon in Sagittarius the next horizon is continuously moving and drawing the native into it. People with this moon sign are not necessarily materialistic and experience counts more than the acquisition of objects, Although Sagittarius moons may be driven to spending some of there hard on earned cash on traveling and experience. Those born with the moon in Sagittarius are firm believers in justice and fair play and will help out anyone who is need, or who has been unfairly treated. Their only fault is that they could be too optimistic and have to learn a more realistic approach through experience and life's though lessons."

Very cool. Here is another group I can join. :) Well, I have Moon in Sag. on the 4th Hs. It conjuncts Neptune; sextiles Pluto; trines Venus and it's opposite Saturn.

Are there any more famous sagittarian moons out there, for inspiration? ;D

The reason I knew that he was Sag is because I kept thinking as I read 'Flaubert's Parrot' that this guy sounds like the Mark Twain of France!

Yeah, he was a fascinating guy. Mercury in Scorpio, too. Lends him those penetrating insights into human motivation.

I'm impressed! Scorpio asc- he was a little obsessed , by sex! ( by french Victorian standards) and wasn't his social milieu scandalised by him!!?
One of his conquests was an Egyptian dancer, on his travels.

Must check those links..

Wow! I know this should go somewhere else, but I'm too impressed not to post it !

Flaubert has Mars in Virgo trine Neptune in the 3rd House... no WONDER he is known for his fastidious devotion to his style!
