Be true too urself, Be proud its u
Hold ur head up high even when ur blue

About A Boy

He was born into chaos, no hope for stability

Like the stormy seas without a day of tranquility

No father to be seen, and mother left alone

She tried her best to do everything on her own

But he still saw some things children aren’t meant to see

A childhood shattered, innocence lost to tragedy

Then his mother saw that what she gave wasn’t enough

And had to make a painful choice, she had to give him up

She said she would be back, and she hugged and kissed him

And sent her son away to be lost within the system

As fatherless days turned to motherless nights, he’d cry

And turned his tear reddened eyes up to the sky


Like a boat without an anchor, like a leaf when the wind is blowing

You don’t know who you are, you don’t know where you’re going

What is it you’re looking for, what are you trying to reach?

Is it something I can give, is it something I can teach?

Walking for miles trying to find it endlessly

Not even seeing that it was here with me


He then grew up from a boy into a man

But nothing ever lasted, like castles in the sand

Bounced around from home to home, place to place

Never stayed too long, couldn’t forget his mother’s face

He found that she, no one could ever, ever replace

And sought to find her love, but was left cold without a trace

Women they came, and women they went

And many a night with them in pleasure spent

But all could do nothing to satisfy his soul

And he would dream not of them, but days of old

A fatherless dream turned to motherless nightmares, he’d cry

And turned his tear reddened eyes back up to the sky

I know that I can never be her, I know that for true

No matter how I try, she’ll mean more to you

But we’re alike because when you lift your eyes to the sky

Regardless of how red they are after your last cry

There’s a star there that even with the threat of day never departs

That’s how you are to us, that’s how you’ll be in our hearts

Daybreak

Darkness surrounds you blinding your senses
Swiftly you try to escape but there are fences
Keeping you inside this dark abyss
You try to figure it out damn what did I miss?
Close your eyes and let it go
Let your energy rise up and flow
Light is creeping into view
