Taurus - taking it slow or just friendship ?

That is my old story....Now turn to page 8 - new Taurus, new Santa Barbara ! ))))

I fall for this sexy smart Taurus guy at work. He seems to like me too, I secretely think he is in love )))), is eying me from every corner passionately, speaking mainly with me, everybody noticed our closeness BUT all this .... since...July....we went strolling in our district several times and to lunches and he was writing me on the Net when was in business trip - I feel that we are made for each other, so much fun with him and soooooo sexy ))))....In Sep/October he got extremely possessive, even mean and now does not allow me to talk to other guys....even that we don't have a proper relationship yet....He likes the idea that I belong to him. He said he is very conservative in a relationship and does not allow woman to be independent.....This is all weird because he actually never asked me out for a date....he always gets out of the office with me as if by chance....he touched my hands several times but....we still don't go out as normal couple....Can Taurus hesitate for such a long time ??? And I know he is single....I am kind of tortured.....

Sarah, after you told him all this truth, did you not have an....awkward moment ? How did you manage that ? How did he behave after your words ?

Well you have to first understand that my boyfriend is bavarian (from southern germany). He had been trying to get with me for a couple months, since the first time we saw each other. Everytime I saw him I wanted to laugh and have fun with him, it was a feeling of warmness. I ended up kissing him one night while at a party, we were interrupted by my then-boyfriend (who was a jerk by the way) and I felt bad about it because Im not a cheater. But after that things went downhill for me, and I realized how I truly felt about it all.

Me and the other guy were 'trying to work things out' which basically meant he wanted time to 'think'. I spent about three days feeling like crap about the situation before realizing I didnt really care. I sent the taurus guy an invitation to meet me and some friends at the bar. He didnt speak very much english at the time but he showed up at the right place. The first thing I asked him if he had a girlfriend, he said no, and looked confused.

I pulled him into a part of the bar (actually it was where we first kissed) and my friend translated all the things I was saying. The taurus guy kept saying that he couldnt start a relationship with one of his 'best friend's' girl's. We had to explain to him that I wasn't together with the other guy and it was all okay. He was still worried about it but then shut up, the friend left us alone. He looked at me in a kind of curious, scared, loving way at first...and offered me a beer! Hahaha. Went really fast after that -- he took me to his house and showed me everything about his life in like one night (he was soooo excited to talk to me about it all) and we started seeing each other everyday.

So I guess his reaction was confused, but so shocked and happy that his feelings for me were finally returned. And at the right moment as well. I guess you would have to grab the bull by the horns so to say. Either he'll throw you off or take you for the ride!

If this helps, my boyfriend is a taurus sun, cancer moon, leo rising. (im a libra sun, scorpio moon, sag rising). He is very cautious, scared to get his feelings hurt, but also extremely outgoing with his leo rising.

I had an experience with two different Taurus guys. The first one showed signs of possessiveness but he wasn't direct about it. In the end he totally backed off and ignored me. He came back 3 years later and did the same thing all over again. In my experience, Taurus guys hesitate for a long time. The first Taurus guy was upfront about his hesitation but he had no problem playing me and being cuddly when he saw me. Has he been burned in the past? That was the issue with both Taurus guys I dated.

I forgot to mention that yes taurus men are very sensual. They really like things that appeal to their senses. Nice smells (one guy I used to date, would ALWAYS comment on how great I smelled, and I made sure I always wore his favorite scent when I saw him), nice fabrics, etc. that really turns them on.

Filomena: Hope you are well too, thanks for asking! :) Its strange, I have dealt with that same kind of behavior from men and its ANNOYING. I cant stand the hot and cold when a guy shows interest one day and then the next cant do something as simple as returning a sms or call. At the same time, its also important to take into consideration that maybe because he was tending to something urgent, he didnt have time to respond? I am going through a process of learning now where I am starting to realize these things...sometimes because we like a guy so much, we start to take to heart all of the actions that he does, w hen sometimes it has nothing to do with us. I think a taurus man would love a chase. And from what I've seen when they are interested, they will chase you, especially because of that possessiveness, and knowing that they have something good that they dont want to see go to someone else. I also sense alot of interest on his part for you, so if you just stand back for a little, I think that will put enough worry in his head that he will come running back immediately.

Quick question Carmen. Does the chasing and possessiveness hold true for guys with moon in Taurus too?

I would imagine so to an extent. I'll look it up and let you know. I did date a Pisces with a Taurus moon and I noticed that he enjoyed taking in the initiative and chasing me, but I didnt see much possessiveness. I will get back to you tho!

Hi Carmen )) actually he called me back today, excusing himself because he had his phone at vibration mode at night and didn't hear my calls...He said he hoped nothing serious happened...we spent an hour on the phone, ha said he is going to the gym and tomorrow out of town to his aunt's house. I said jokingly that I thought he would never call me again....he said that I should not think this of him, he would not play with anybody's feelings (why did he say that ??????). But. He didn't propose anything. So in the end I propose to do smth together. When I hear his voice I ecome just so relaxed...I feel safe.....And I said boldly that I hope he understood that I want to see him. I don't know why I said that, it sounds so stupid and insistant. He said he will call me during the week or Sunday. He didn't sound particularly enthusiastic, just as regular...friendship, cool. Weird. So I chase him now, but I have a feeling that he manipulated me into that. Taurus - Libra...manipulating and dominative. Libra is lost. ))))

Well he is definitely interested, so you have a good taurus guy who wants you here!Earth signs arent exactly too emotional, so him having that same tone is not really a reflection of how he feels inside. Also him telling you that he would never do something like that to your feelings..is quite sincere (or at least sounds like it to me). One thing I know about taurus is that they are usually pretty honest in most situations. My dad was prone to lying every once in a while, but I think it was more because of his leo aspects in his chart that definitely craved attention and pity...a whole other post lol. I am glad you have an opportunity to see him again, the more time you spend with him, the more sure he will be about his decision in wanting to be with you. I hope you are ready! :)
