Taurus - taking it slow or just friendship ?

That is my old story....Now turn to page 8 - new Taurus, new Santa Barbara ! ))))

I fall for this sexy smart Taurus guy at work. He seems to like me too, I secretely think he is in love )))), is eying me from every corner passionately, speaking mainly with me, everybody noticed our closeness BUT all this .... since...July....we went strolling in our district several times and to lunches and he was writing me on the Net when was in business trip - I feel that we are made for each other, so much fun with him and soooooo sexy ))))....In Sep/October he got extremely possessive, even mean and now does not allow me to talk to other guys....even that we don't have a proper relationship yet....He likes the idea that I belong to him. He said he is very conservative in a relationship and does not allow woman to be independent.....This is all weird because he actually never asked me out for a date....he always gets out of the office with me as if by chance....he touched my hands several times but....we still don't go out as normal couple....Can Taurus hesitate for such a long time ??? And I know he is single....I am kind of tortured.....

And the result is....none so far. No calls, nothing. My friend at work said he is totally daydreaming not speaking to anyone since I left.He is not speaking to me either, haha ))))))))))))))). I just can't imagine that everything that happened between us was a game....or smth else.....no real feelings....WHY DOING THAT ??? WTF....

It sounds like even though, as you say, it is not 'official' he is thinking that you guys are in a relationship. It doesn't always have to be a cut and dry, hey are we together kind of thing. Because of the time you guys are spending together and how you are acting with one another maybe he has assumed that you guys are in a relationship?

The one thing that concerns me though is his possessiveness. I mean, sometimes it is harmless, you know, this is my girl kinda thing but from what you are saying he is forbidding contact with the opposite sex?

Any man who is that possessive makes me think:

1. run for the hills because if he is already this nuts now then imagine how it will be when it is more 'official'!

2. why does he feel so threatened by other men? I don't know about you but I would want to be with someone who was confident that I was with him and that no matter what he had nothing to worry about ya know? The trust would be there.

Anyway, just some things to think about hun.

More specifics as requested ))))) - we chatted today on the msn. He sent me some music from youtube, was vey nice. After that I went to the gym and coming out of the gym I saw 3 sms from him, he invited me to the restaurant, his favorite....I looked truly horrible, no make up, wet hair, jeans and Tshirt ))))) But I couldn't resist the invitation )))) we spent very nice 3 hours, this guy can make lough to tears )))))).....and then he got stomack pains ))))))) that was sad....we went to the pharmacy because he literally couldn't walk ))))) he took the medicine and we spent another half an hour sitting on the bus stop, waiting for the medicine to work )))). Then he walked me closer to my house and took a taxi. Kissed me on the cheeks ..oh oh oh )))) for the first time....I said that I want to go skating. He said he knows a good place in town. That's it, 134 th episode of Santa Barbara ))))))))))).....God at least he was really nice and funny, unlike our last randez vous......I am in love, but is he ?????? )))))))

Woa sounds awesome! No worries about the looking 'horrible' part. He most likely wants a natural woman. If I put on anything more than mascara and a little foundation my taurus hates it. That's great that you went to the pharmacy with him and stayed until the medicine worked! Im sure he likes you. They dont go on dates like that for no reason.

He's still hesitant but his affections for you are really really clear. I would take it slow for now, because when he commits it will be like an earthquake under your feet, and he'll really put all his effort into having a good relationship with you. Love is in the air for the holidays! =)

Friendship thing is not so likely. They entertain their 'friends' at home, not at restaurants. You are someone he is interested in. Flirting isn't that normal. It's more like, "Hi, I want to build a house and family with you.". Hahaha. Maybe no so extreme but you get the idea. He's too lazy to be going out with you if there's nothing in it for him. Something that would be nice for him is a relationship. Or sex. But considering he's taking it slow with you, it's not just about sex.

That's exactly what I expected - 3 days passed, no phone calls....he only told me that he feels better (stomack problem)....why have we met in the first place if he does not want to maintain normal human contact ??? Am I going too fast ??

Yea! Just chill out! Letting him come to you, but being there when he comes, is what he wants! It's really arrogant but he thinks its normal. He's grazing the field and will keep coming out to check on you and make sure you're still the same. It's takes time for him to change his situation, but when he does he changes with force.

3 days is not a week. A week is not a month. Just let it come as it goes and focus on your own stuff. If it's too slow for you then think about wether or not it's worth it! It's not hard to win a taurus's affection, but it requires patience. They are really wonderful lovers when hooked.

When you feel like you've had enough, and your patience has run out, then just tell him nicely how you feel and see what happens. If he really likes you he will take the bait. They may take their time, but they aren't stupid.

No worries I used to be pretty hysterical myself. Things have changed in the last two years though. Maybe all that earth is finally rubbing off on me! Hah.

When do you want to go skating? Before christmas right? Maybe hint about it when he's around, and see if he says anything. It's sort of difficult to bring them out for stuff like that. There's lots of people and everything is moving fast, blah blah blah. Its no that they are boring, but crowds aren't really their thing. But he likes you so suggest it eventually.

If he doesn't say anything, tell him you're going skating and would like him to come with. Dont plan it with friends though. Give him the bait!!!

Just chill out and go after your true feelings. They will lead you in the right direction! If love is there, it will prevail!
