I just can't put this situation out of my head until I have closure. I have been learning about horary astrology, but I am very much a novice. I wanted to ask a question a. to learn, b. because I need some kind of closure before I can move on.

The entire situation may not be relevant, so I'll keep it short. I was romantically involved with a Virgo, and he recently hurt me badly. At this point, I do not want to know if we will get back together (even if I am curious) because asking and wondering that question won't allow me to take the steps needed for me to move on. But I do want to know if we will ever make amends and at least get our friendship back. His friendship was truly invaluable to me, and he said mine was for him as well, but there may be too much pain involved for us to resume the friendship without the romantic link.

I wrote him an email telling him how much he hurt me a few days ago. He is dealing with a lot of stuff right now health-wise and emotionally (going through his mid-life transits in his angular houses). But I at least expected him to apologize. He has not bothered to respond!! This has hurt even worse. So all I would like to know is if I should stop expecting a response, or if he even cares that he hurt me.

My own interpretation of the chart is that I am Mars and he is Venus. The two are in sextile, so does this mean the desire to remain friends is mutual?

I know the Moon is in the anaretic degree of Taurus, but it is in Taurus so that is dignified (right?), and it is making plenty of aspects, so it is not VOC? An alternative interpretation I heard for Moons that are in the last few degrees in horary is that it doesn't necessarily mean the answer is negative, but that something major will have to change to get the positive result desired. How do I interpret the moon in this case?

He (Venus) is the the 12th house, so does that mean he is still hiding something from me? He has a 12th house Moon natally, so it wouldn't surprise me.

My ameteur conclusion is that the feelings of frienship and wanting to maintain it are still there, but that he is being weighed down with something pretty deep and doesn't feel free to express his feelings. Maybe he never well. Since the Moon in in a suceedent house, can I expect closure one way or the other within a few weeks time?

Or does the Moon simply indicate that it is too early to predict right now?

I'm so confused. :( My head is swimming with all of this new info!

I think Michelle placed him in the 5th house because he is a "romantic" interest, and 7th house is for "committed boyfriends and married farts." However, I disagree. The first house deals with "me", while the polar opposite house, the 7th house deals with "me and you." So you're specifically asking about "another person" and I think 7th house takes the cake.

And judging by this article: http://www.astrologyweekly.com/weekly-horary/continue-relationship.php

"Since this is relationship question, I assign the 7th house (ruled by Saturn) for the man"

the man and the women in the question were not in a committed relationship.

I don't believe that you HAVE to BE in a relationship (already) to be signified by the 7th house.

Also, you have to make sure that your chart is in Regiomontanus!!!!! the house system actually varies in degrees. It might tiny, but it might shift the whole meaning of the chart!!!!

I forgot to change the house system!! However, it didn't seem like there were many differences in this case...

I haven't read your attached article yet, but my question would be: Who then, is signified by the 5th?

I'm going to answer my own question and say that relationships that aren't considered serious would be shown by the 5th. Fifth house relationships are about FUN. So, since MissKitty clearly considers this relationship serious, I'll look at the 7th.

Venus and Mars are sextile yet separating. Venus is still in the 12th showing the secretive nature of the relationship. Venus and Mars are still both exalted. Venus and the Moon are square possibly showing some tension between what the querent wants and the direction of the partner. Friendship? Possible.

COOL! We answered this question!

But I don't know, man. Venus's heading towards that Uranus (Uranus = never knwos what's going to happen. things might just take turns/flip over, be totally crazy).

Plus, I just noticed that Venus is intercepted. He could be feeling a bit confined by this secret relationship. Mars's sign, Capricorn, covers two houses-seems to be more in control-driving for the relationship? Whereas Venus/Pisces/intercepted in the 12th may have been more than happy to just have a secret romantic affair- Mars/ Capricorn/10th is driving towards a relationship that gains public acknowledgment?

You are both awesome. :) Thanks so much for your responses. I think you are right on Michelle, he was perfectly happy with a secret relationship, but I was the one wanting it to be more. I was wondering about the approach of Venus to Uranus as well. Impossible to predict what that will mean I guess, but with Saturn opposition it will still involve restriction and holding back.

I have begun to accept that a romantic relationship on the level I want may never be possible or fated for us, but before we got romantically involved he was a valuable friend and almost like a mentor to me. I really looked up to him. I didn't acknowledge my own feelings if attraction until he told me he had always been attracted to me. So that is why it is so important to me to save the friendship, it was there and valuable before anything romantic took place.

I was mainly comforted to see the tie between Mars and Venus. Also, Venus is the applying aspect right? So along with the combust Mars, I am interpretting that to mean there is no further action I need to take. The ball is completely in his court.

Thanks so much you guys.

I see the 5th more of the creative expression area. Art. Leisure. Sports, lottery, gambling. But yes, love affairs are there too, but it's more romantic and lovey dovey. "No feelings involved" JUST "attractions" that's what I would describe the 5th house stuff.

"Children, pregnancy, pregnant women, sex of the unborn child. The health and condition of children. If afflicted, trouble and distress from children.
Love affairs, romance, lovemaking, sex, procreation and conception. If afflicted, promiscuity, sexual inhibition, immorality, overindulgence and scandals.
Pleasure, gifts and all pleasant things. Items purchased for the purpose of pleasure and enjoyment. The arts and muses. Dancing, music, merriment. Clothes, fineries and rich, luxurious things.
Horse-racing, betting on sport, lotteries and all forms of gambling and speculation. Speculation on the stock market is often assigned here but where the investment is based upon financial or business decisions the 2nd house has more relevance. Although Ivy Goldstein-Jacobson popularised the notion that it rules speculation on the stock market, she defined its influence as ruling "everything whose outcome is a matter of chance" ([SHA], p.163)."

And, too be honest. I think she views him more than just a quick f*ck (5th house).

Yup. I did think he was "the one" there for a while, but I have recently learned about the effects of Neptune transiting my 7th. Joke was on me I guess!
