Can we help each other to axis-shift toward our North Node...?

I was just feeling all washed over with gratitude because of some precious & unexpected interactions tonight here in the forum - especially on this very important day in my life, as it's the anniversary of losing a very important person in my life, my Dad (see my blog if you're interested) - and suddenly felt little flashes of the energy of my North Node manifesting itself: Cancer Node in 7th house.

This is the direction I want to go, and I want to embrace all that Cap/1st house experience and harness it in the direction where my life can blossom most, for the highest good.

And then it occurred to me that as people keep encountering each other here at SC, would it be possible for us to support & reflect each other in some helpful way? ...like... "You're sounding mighty South-Nody today, dear...how about a little (xyz)?"

I know I need to shift from being a stubborn go-it-aloner, mental and analytical to the nth degree, and maybe a bit combustible and over-enthusiastic too...yet I also know my mind is part of my gifts to be used correctly: in service of emotional connection, nurturing & sharing with others. ...Actually, I think I'm not doing too badly with that. I know I've come a long way. But something about writing that blog about my Dad - I think it really carries what my North Node is supposed to be about.

What about you? What does your Nodal Axis tell you about how you could "shift your center of gravity" in support of your life's potential? Any way that others here can support you on that path...?

can you add it in like you can asteroids

yes, i think you can. but it's not really necessary, as it's simply 180° opposite your North. you can always draw it in yourself on the chart if you like.

did i already say i have a merc-ven-mars stellium with my south?

Should I try to learn from my N.node how to deal with confrontation?

I take it very hard. I get sad if someone tries to fight with me, I just feel an overwhelming sense of discord and desire to give them a hug or lollipop or something. Lol

But I think thats my Mars Libra, I just feel like its a major issue I've been dealing with all my life. I always want to please and take it to heart if someone sees me as "the other".

So, I just got back from my 18-day vacation in Southern Italy, which was fantastic. After 2 years without vacation, I see that not having gone on vacation actually made me lose some essential vacation fitness. Vacation should be considered spiritual practice.

I also think it was a great Nodal vacation, in many ways (ref to my Cancer North in 7th house). First of all, I got to catch (and release) a few crabs on the cliffs (ok, that was a lie, because it sounded better that way. I only caught a crab once, and it was tiny, and the 2nd time I tried, it freaked me out when it moved), as well as swim, snorkel, and dive a lot. This vacation was nearly all about water and relating. It was also very go-with-the-flow, and intensely intimate, as my boyfriend and I journeyed in his VW bus from Switzerland to the tip of Italy's heel, along the coast of Italy from Pescara to Gallipoli, spending nearly all the time together and found out that we only like each other more.
I didn't check email even once, and only twice wondered what I'd find if I did so.

The time we shared was not only hilariously funny, but also mutually healing. Here are some aspects we share:
- His Cap Sun/Merc/Mars // (same sign and/or conjunct) my Cap N. Node/Merc/Venus/Mars
- My Pisces Chiron conjunct his Venus (and his Venus trine my Scorpio Moon)
- His LIbra Pluto square my Nodal Axis and Venus
- My Sun/Moon midpoint = his Moon
- His Sun/Moon midpoint = my Mars & Merc (and via stellium contacting my Venus)
- His Scorpio Juno and Eros conjunct my Moon
- His Taurus Jupiter opposite my Moon
- My Aries Jupiter trine his Sadge Moon

His Nodal axis is 29°Libra North in 10th house / 29°Aries South in 4th house... my Jupiter in same sign though 20° off his South node...my Capricorn planets by sign squaring his nodal axis...my Ascendant 1° trine his South and sextile his North...

The healing experiences on our trip include:
- releasing bad relationship experiences (regarding communication & negotiation & respect) from my marriage in the safe container of this new relationship // freeing up my heart // healing/building trust
- having a positive experience about there being room for 2 people and 'give/receive'
- his motivating me to let go and experience new things and take time to just have fun and be less serious
- healing regarding his sexuality/shame/feeling more free (he has an 8th house Saturn in Leo)
- healing regarding his Cap Mars - Libra Pluto square and explosiveness with authority figures...our quality of communication and my openness letting him experience that his impact on others matters...his being touched by my deep feelings (my Moon/his Venus/our Mercs/my Chiron)...connecting to his heart and desire to transform
- healing regarding matters of his heart - his painful mother-story, his current pain on account of his father's cancer, finding his footing regarding how to express his love, things in his heart................his Pisces Venus & Scorpio Juno & Sadge Moon // my Pisces Chiron & Scorpio Moon & Scorpio Juno & 12th house Sadge Sun

Well, those are my observations, however accurate/inaccurate the astro data may be.

Responses are welcome!

Absurdly, I forgot the most important piece of healing for me: his Mars-Pluto explosion (not directed at me but at a cop) triggered some of my most deeply buried memories of the unstoppable explosions between my parents when I was a child - or more significantly, the terror and powerlessness and helplessness I felt then.
The healing experience was in accessing those lost pieces of information about myself & my fears, and how those impacted my life (loss of interest in life/aliveness), as well as to experience his way of listening to me and receiving me and responding to me. Very profound.

Another detail: his Chiron 27° Aries in (his 4th house) is 2° conjunct his South Node 29° Aries.
I guess there's relevant contact to his Chiron (4th house) and Nodal Axis (4th/10th house) from my Ascendant 28° Sadge and Cancer/Cap Nodal Axis also being related to 4th/10th house energies of his Nodal Axis.

You can find all your N.Node needs on there.

Your cancer right?

Take it eeeeeasy.
Oh yeah, I just realized your name would be very comforting for a 2 year old. I just pictured a little baby trying to say it. :)

Thanks for that link! I loved the info and it really fits for me :)
I also read about my boyfriend, and wow, it fits perfectly. Especially the things he is working on letting go of (Aries South Node).
It's really interesting to see what aspects of North Node work is already fairly well-integrated and where the work is still to be done.
