I spent a very inspiring and memorable weekend with my bellydance teacher. I performed in the show she organised ( with bellydancers, a cheeky burlesque performance, an amazing drag artist and a talented African drummer, with whom I did an interactive performance, playing the finger cymbals).

Later on , back at her place we were discussing natal charts ( as she's into astrology too) I found out that she and her partner both have aquarius moons, while I have venus in aquarius. We're all fire signs: I'm sagittarius, she's Leo and he's (her partner) sagittarius. We all get on quite well, and seem to know where each other are coming from. I felt it was just one of those weekends that was extremely special, because I was among kindred spirits and I haven't felt that in a very long time...

That weekend has made me think more about the Aquarian energy, but in terms of positive traits, rather than just the stereotypical oddball claims!

What are people's understanding/experiences/analyses/stories of venus in aquarius, moon in aquarius, mars in aquarius?

Does Sun & Mercury count? My cousin has Sun and Mercury in Aquarius. I love that she is a free thinker and takes everyone at face value. It is possible to shock her....but she won't judge you for it (makes sense?). She likes to use her time and experience wisely and if you prevent her from doing that, she will speak up...being a person of authority doesn't matter. When you need her, she's there for you... no problem. She loooooves to analyze things....one night we drank wine and talked about the "Matrix" movies...for example, the names of the characters and how it relates to their personalities and purposes in the movies...

I have a friend that has Mars in Aquarius....he looooves his freedom. Even though he's out and about, when he says he will call, he calls.....that's so rare. He has a lot of friends and if you are "good people", he has to have you "in his circle". He appears detached but I think he feels more than he lets on....I think my cousin is the same way....

Yes, bring on the Sun and mercury!

That's what I like about Aquarian energy: the friendliness and broad-mindedness, the kindness, and the very interesting, intellectual conversations. How can you get bored!!!!

I think so much has been made out of Aquas being detached or distant, but it's so heart-warming to hear about not discriminating against others when making friends: that's touching.

Moon, venus and mars- hey what's that like!! I can imagine a wide circle of diverse friends, not easily shocked, playing devil's advocate in arguments, running errands for others, interested in causes, informal, sometimes impersonal, intellectual, seeing the bizarrely funny side of things, individual sense of dress style......?

Yes on all of those things!!

Every "inner Aquarian" and many Solar Aquarians I know are pretty intellectual!!

I rest my case! Thanks, Angeline Elise....

More people should be like Aquarians or evolve an aquarian energy, rather than moan about how distant, aloof , enigmatic we are.
Come on! We are progressive, we care about people, we can project into the future, we are intellectual- cool people!!!! ;D

P.S we're quirky, so you can't accuse us of being "cookie cutter"! LOL

As my beautiful Moon in Aquarius wife pointed out...I have my Moon/Venus/Mars in Aquarius and I have got to say...there is something to us all...us "inner Aquarians".

With the trifecta complete, I find that the only people I can relate to almost instantly and intensely are other "inner Aquarians"...more so than even solar Aquarians (whom I still love dearly).

I instantly have a bond with Lunar Aquarians I noticed, and have met more of those than any other type... I love their progressiveness and their need to not "fit in". In my experience: with Earth Signs(as TUU once pointed out)...it brings a skepticism that is positively delicious and necessary in the world. In Air signs, I find the hippest of the hip people. In Water signs..it adds a positively undeniable progressive streak to their kind personalities and in Fire signs makes them a bit more unexpected than usual.

Venusian Aquarians are constantly surrounded by "different" things... and it's awesome to see.. I attract the weirdest, most interesting people on the planet...and I love it!

But I am really romantic about Mars Aquarians "for the win". They always seem to accomplish something different with their lives...and I hope to do that one day.

My closest ex and the one person I say can understand me in this world is a Sag with Moon and Mars in Aquarius; he's a physicist and musician and hilariously his mother is a Capriquarius like me (Cap Sun/Merc; Aquarius Moon/Venus/Mars) she is an artist.

I have also met someone born on the same day as me, and she's pretty nuts, but I guess I am too(when we met, we didn't know and both liked that we had the same piercings, taste in music/art and piercings, and we both like to write)...but I can tell the Asc. is different...she is very into dark imagery in her writing as mine is more sarcastic/humorous (sardonic Cap rising ;)).

I also see "inner Aquarians" as intuitive in a strange way...more in a social way than anything. They always seem to know what the next big thing will be. We are really good at tech stuff...we pick up on it really quick.

I think "inner Aquarians" can seek each other out. When my teacher told me about being Aquarian moon, I wasn't in the least bit surprised! It just made sense. There are others out there, who I know for sure have to be inner Aquarian......

Venus in aquarius ( compounded by Moon in Sagittarius)- I am surrounded by different things, like music from different cultures or books on astrology, metaphysics, clothes and jewellery no one would dream of wearing, but they look good on you, strange friends, who are the salt of the earth, humanitarian friends who are always on marches on something- sometimes needing time and space alone, whicj is not weird at all.... being able to see different points of view or accepting the more bizarre ideas, because they are the most practical and logical and rational..

For seriously... I just bought a book and the author is so odd, that I had to generate a birth chart for him...sure enough...mars Aquarian!

Mars Aquarians can be interesting writers, I've found. (Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk)

Lunar Aquarians are great writers as well! (Dylan Thomas, John Lennon, Jeffrey Kishner)

Lunar Aquarians are definitely revolutionaries!

My brother is an aquarian mars, and he's very individual, has some great humanitarian and social ideas and points , which he lives by.

Do you find that even though, you feel very accepting and tolerant, that you need time off by yourself, to recharge and think, and this has nothing to do with being aloof and distant?

I actually need lots of time to myself...I am constantly digesting things and even if I am with someone, I will seem off somewhere else because I am thinking.

I am like a dog...I can be really into a conversation and then just get distracted and run the other way. I will stop mid sentence to think about something else and never go back to the sentence, I just am like 'screw it!'. My friend tells me he thinks I'm mildly autistic....I just stop. This happens everyday.

So yes, people kind of have to deal with the solitude or they can fight real hard and get my body to sit next to them while I am thinking...that's why I prefer to have no pressure put on me, because I would rather hang out with people when I know I'll get involved.

Yep, that sounds very logical to me.
I'm not sure if it's my sag sun/moon/merc or my venus in aquarius, but I find like you I need to digest what I 've seen or heard.

I find myself constantly thinking, so people have actually said"We passed you in the street/saw you over the road, and waved/said hello, but you were in a world of your own.." I can get distracted by other thoughts when speaking - it;s like I'm having two or three thoughts going on at the same time, or I might change conversation topic, as soon as the thought comes on!

I think the solitude helps me calm down too. I know people think it's weird- but as I think most aquarian types are very social, it's a possibility one gets emotionally drained.

I know that if I am constantly listening to people's problems. or sorting out issues at work, or even spent an evening watching some intense /harrowing documentary, I feel drained, so I need to slope off somewhere!

Then I can get back to the others....

This is probably why others think aquarians are distant/aloof , when in actual fact, they are thinking/processing ( silence) or they want solitude from time to time ( to keep sane)!

thanks, that's really helped!
